Music Video - Concept

Below is the track we are going to use for our music video. We have received permission from "Bisola"  who is the artist to use her track. The track we are using is called "Carry On".

Here are some similar songs below that are similar and fall in the same genre of music.

When listening to our music we image a video which appears quite emotional and also relatable to certain situations. We also think that a performance video will be best suited for this song as to have a narrative with this could be quite confusing and difficult to make, therefore difficult for the audience to understand. The video will focus on emotions produced by the artist and show strong feelings created, this is because of the target audience of young teenagers with a low self-esteem and not much confidence. We also think the video will show purity through things such as water (sea, river) and the purity can also be linked to the target audience as they are also likely to be pure and innocent.

The concept for the video is therefore in a quite and calm area, focussing on the artist. The location is likely to be on a beach, pier or based by a river.

Digi pack - Adele 21

For this task I had to remake an album cover I chose to remake Adele's 21 album. For this I used photo shop to edit to make me look like Adele.

This is the album cover I've chosen to remake.

This the pitcher I took to try and pose like Adele and when it comes to editing it's easer if the pose the same or similar to the album cover.

This is s screen shot of removing the background, to a dark background.

This is a screenshot of changing the background of the image I've taken to a dark background.

After I had changed the background, I then went on to change the colour of the image I had taken. I had also added text to the image. I then cropped the image to make it to more of the same size to an album cover then just an edited photo.

Digi-Pack - Justin Timberlake

Here is my album cover I recreated, this album is by justin Timberlake.

The screenshots below show the process of making the album cover:
This is the picture I have taken to put onto the album.
I then created the album cover with a blank space for my face.
After I placed my image in and started rubbing out unnecessary parts of the image.
I then used a black and white filter over my image layer to recreate the same style of the original cover. I also used the colour picker tool to select my skin colour, I then filled in a section near my forehead to fill in the blank gap.
Here is my final album cover.

Digi-pack practice

I have taken the album cover from Iggy Azalea, Work and will attempt to recreate this as similarly as I can. I will be able to use photoshop to edit my photo into black and white and also will find a star background image to overlay my photo and then can change the opacity of the star background so that it is slightly transparent over my photo.

Here is my version of the album cover which I have edited in photoshop and I have used certain tools to try to recreate this album cover.

Here is the difference in the photos before I had edited it on photoshop and after.

To create a black background behind me I selected the areas where you could see objects (as shown above) and deleted them so that section became black.

I then cropped the photo into a square and to a similar size to the real cover.

I then changed the photo to black and white using adjustments on the photoshop.

I then found an image on the internet of stars which looked similar to the real album cover and put them on a layer on top of the photo of me. I then changed the opacity so that they are faded and you can still clearly see me.

Finally, I added a red box and text to complete the album replica.
